It's been a good year

And a busy one, too! Over the past 12 months I've been fortunate to teach two sessions of my popular Vegan Home Chef cooking class through Wethersfield Adult Education, lead a veganic gardening workshop series and several nature walks, coordinate the Peas & Love Community Garden, give presentations at Yale Medical School and Central Connecticut State University, and offer numerous cooking classes and vegan potlucks. Thank you to everyone who invited me to provide these educational opportunities, and to all those who attended. I couldn't do this without you!

As I look ahead to the New Year, I'm already getting excited about what's coming up. In January I'll be hosting a New Year Vegan Brunch Potluck to ring in the new year and provide an opportunity for anyone who is not (yet) vegan to take the "Veganuary Pledge" to go vegan for the month.

Later in the month I'll be giving a presentation called "Healthy Eating for Busy People" at Wethersfield Public Library. This free event will be an excellent resource for anyone new to veganism as well as those who want to learn quick & easy cooking tips. In February, as the winter chill really sets in, I'll be offering a "Healthy Soups & Stews" cooking class with Wethersfield Adult Education. Details on all of these events will be posted on the website, so be sure to check back.

I hope to see you in 2020 at one of these events! Can't make it? If you'd like me to offer an event near you, please contact me to let me know your needs and interests. I'm happy to customize a program that will suit your audience and venue.

In the mean time, consider me a resource on your vegan journey and feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I look forward to connecting with you!

Wishing you Happy Holidays and a peaceful New Year!
